I still can’t decide if I liked the film. Each layer was interesting, shot skilfully, and was well acted, but they didn’t connect in a way that I found satisfying, and other they connected in ways that were actively disturbing. Stranger still, I really couldn’t work out if the director was very aware of the disturbing aspects, or that the overall plot didn’t make much sense. Despite all of this, I still can’t decide if I liked it or not – it’s interesting at least.
