Ah, the heady days of summer… They greet me with a summer cold and hayfever. Poop! On the plus side I spent a fair bit of time this weekend fiddling around with a new feature on the PS3 called VidZone. It’s a streaming music video application and already has hundreds of videos on there. You can cue up a playlist for yourself or pick to play the latest charts or most popular videos. All of them come down at a quality that’s pretty comparable to standard definition broadcast. It’s got flaws, such as borders around the videos and the search facility is tosh, but I’m sure this will be improved over time. Overall it’s a fantastic addition, and even better considering it’s free!
