Trouble Down Pit

I’ve never experienced road or landscape like New Mexico. The expanse of America is immense, the roads long and straight, and much of the land is devoid of population. Seeing one telegraph pole leaning like this reminds you of how fragile it all is, what effort there has been to try to tame this land into a fashion that is usable by people, and how easily it could fall.
