Trouble Down Pit

I was thinking the other day about the number of my comics that require a fair amount of knowledge of geeky stuff to get the references. This one is, I believe, fairly moderate, but overall this isn’t a comic that’s exactly aiming for a mainstream audience, is it? I’m a little torn here – on one hand, I’d like it if people got the jokes and references, but on the other hand I’m mostly making things that tickle my own brain and hoping that other people like them too. It’s an interesting place to be in.
