Aargh. I had jalapenos and achovies in toast for breakfast (a.k.a. the breakfast of champions with not-much in their fridge) and, being a little sleepy, I rubbed my eye afterwards. I thought there was no chille on my fingers, but I can now confirm that it is very persistent stuff. Ouch.

I had a fantastic weekend. I saw loads of my family, made a short speech that was very low on jokes (because there’s not much that’s actually very funny about having worked on a thesis for seven years), met up with a friend for a couple of drinks… Yep, it was really nice. ‘Hope you had fun too! See you Friday!
