There is a huge pile of leaves I pass by on the way to work and the gym. I’m sure it’s almost completely mulched by now. I know that it’s probably just a sodden mass, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to dive into it.
In other news: Happy palindromic day! It’s 11.11.11, a lovely date to behold.
As well as being a beautiful number, it is also Rememberance Day (in the UK) where we have two minute’s silence to remember the people who have lost their lives fighting for the freedoms that we enjoy today. The present world is amazing, even with all of its troubles, and it would not have been the same without their sacrifice. As much as I believe that violence can be avoided, I acknowledge that it is sometimes necessary and I am thankful for those who have worked for generations to give us this world today.
Have a fun weekend!
When I was younger(not that I’m too old now), I’d wish to grow up to be something/someone.
But now, I just wish I could grow down to being a little, carefree kid!
You’re never too old to stop being an adult.
True. In fact, it’s Children’s Day tomorrow here in India.
I’m 18, but that ain’t gonna stop me from going out and being child-like!
I’ve heard about Children’s Day. I like the idea 🙂 Have fun!
