Trouble Down Pit

Unlike the windmills in Europe, American windmills are actually water pumps that help remote homes keep water pressure. This one appeared to be serving a small community of RV motor homes and a farmhouse. Like a lot of New Mexico, there was a feeling that being off-grid was normal for a large portion of the state.
