You never saw the actual marriage in Romeo and Juliet. Possibly because there wasn’t a way of making it non-legally binding back then and, considering the all-male cast, that might have sometimes proven awkward.
I had a very busy weekend – I was at a wedding on Friday (congrats Alice and Richard!), a hen-night at a goth club in Basingstoke on Saturday (I was a honorary girl for the night), and at work for pretty much all of Sunday. Crikey. I’m pooped!
I’m not sure I’ve ever typed the word ‘pooped’ before. How odd. Are there any (real) words or expressions that you’ve never typed? ‘Hope you had fun this weekend, I’ll see you on Friday for more marital silliness. Toodle-pip!
I don’t think I’ve ever typed “toodle-pip”!
Few people have, I suspect, and that’s just a damn shame.
i useualy use toodleoo…. never seen anyone else realy use it though…. its a dying breed of words, to be replaced by things like ‘Mcjob’, which is now an official word of the english language… freeky eh…
