I’ve had a nice relaxing weekend, working on my novel, sleeping late, playing Lego Star Wars (UK link, US link) with my girlfriend, watching films, and drawing this week’s comics too (of course). I’ve also got a painting I’ve been occasionally going back to for the last six months or-so, and I made a bit of time to work on that too. Yep, it’s been lovely. What have you been up to?

Incidentally, my novel is now over eighty six thousand words. I’ve got three chapters left to write (although I might have an epilogue, I’ll see how I feel when I get there). By Friday I’ll be over the ninety thousand, but I already feel like I’m on the home stretch. I’ve got some big action to get into these last few chapters, and they are the most important to get right, so it’s really exciting to have reached this point. Not long now and the first draft will be completely done! I’m already quite elated by this and I’ve not even got there yet. I think that in less than two weeks I’ll be there!
