Doh! If only the future humans had thought of that. Or is it past humans? I don’t know, the timeline of that series has got rather screwy.
In other news, Stan Winston passed away last weekend. It was a coincidence that the theme for this week was The Terminator, but it just goes to show how often his creations came into the popular imagination. For those who don’t know, he was a special effects creature creator and made some of the best known creatures of the last 25 years.
On a different note, I had a brief conversation with a drunk deaf woman last night and it really struck me how hard it must be to be out by yourself when you can’t communicate freely with others. I know that’s an obvious statement, but I guess it hadn’t come through to me so powerfully before.

The ninja, angel, demon, and the rest will be more cameos – I discovered I’m not very good at consistent plots because they take too much time!
The novel is being edited rather slowly, but it’s getting one final pass before I start sending it to agents 🙂
