Can you guess what game my partner has been playing constantly for the last couple of weeks? (UK link US link)

We may be reaching the end of the birth of Christ strips in the next couple of weeks. It was going to be a small side-track, but it seems to have become a big thing. Oops! There is actually a planned punch line to all of this, although whether anyone will remember enough to find it amusing is a different question.
