This post is coming to you all the way from sunny Southend-On-Sea. It’s a lovely old town, mainly used in Victorian times by Londoners to get away from the city. There’s a great big sculpture of Queen Victoria pointing towards Kent, only a road away from where I’m sitting now. Someone’s smashed her hand, revealing the metal structure underneath, sohe looks more like a terminator version of the the queen, which is pretty groovy.

These days the place is great if you fancy getting into a random fight or petty gambling on the seafront. I suspect that both of these things are British traditions… And that’s what Easter is all about. Possibly.

‘Hope you had fun too, see you on Friday, and don’t forget to vote!
