The town of Ancho seemed to only have one house and a church still in use. The road leading to these buildings looked like it had never been finished.

We didn’t go close enough to see if these had ever been lived in, but there was a feeling that perhaps they were built in a spurt of optimism but not occupied for long, if at all. It’s hard to say why this town ever existed: the land doesn’t seem to be farmed, and no other industry appears to be there. It seemed to be a community that came together and then drifted apart.

I wonder if they went together, or alone?
