‘Hope you had a good weekend. Mine was full of comptemplation about the beginning of my novel and trying to work out the fastest and most explicit way possible to establish the main character’s ongoing conflict situation. The result is that I might be splitting my first chapter into two pieces. I suspect my novel will end up at over 110,000 words at this rate, but if that’s what’s needed, then that’s what it will be.
