In other news, I’m 42% through editing my novel. Slowly and surely, I’m chipping away at the page count, polishing and tightening up the prose as I go. I’m not sure why, but I’m enjoying it more this time than I did the first time I edited it (for new readers, the final draft of my first novel was stolen so I’m having to go through it again). It bodes well that I’m having fun doing it – hopefully the final book will be easier to read because of it!
