I did consider adding a fourth panel to this one, but I decided that this could be one anachronistic bit of the first draft that Shakespeare’s audience would just have to accept, and that would annoy scholars for centuries.

It’s been a lovely relaxing weekend. I’ve been doing some writing recently, and I’d forgotten what an absolute pleasure it is to write fiction. After so many years of working on an academic thesis, writing fiction is a real breath of fresh air. Naturally, it could all be complete rubbish, but I think it’s pretty good so far.

I know some friends of mine have been running around, dressed as ye olde fighting people and hitting each other with rubber swords (although possibly not this weekend), so what have you done that was fun recently?
